I was wondering whether anyone can help me please

I switched on my car today, and some symbol came up on the dash, l have loked through the manual, but it does not state what it is..

I have attached the pic.

What does this actually mean, could you describe the fault and what is required to rectify it.
Is it still safe to drive the car for the time being
