Default Koni + H&R

Would Koni shocks and H&R springs be a good way forward on my S3, and how much fitted?

I've got Koni adjustables and H&R springs on my A3, and I must say it's great. Body roll greatly reduced, and still an acceptable level of comfort.

Dave,

I am running H&R and Konis on my S3. Handling is improved, turn in etc BUT if I am being truthful its way to hard a set up. I'm not too happy with mine so try before you buy if you can (not happy in terms of ride comfort) - I can't make Windsor this month but if I can make June and you havent paid up yet you are welcome to try mine

How much lower have you got your cars? Does it have any effect on clearances?

If u have a look at some of the pictures in my gallery u will see the clearance i have around the wheel arches. Since fitting the 18's ive highered the front by 10mm for clearence issues. Its absolutely fine now and dont have any problems with humps etc. Obvioulsy u have to go over them with care but they are fine.
The ride is very good, i dont find mine too hard at all, in fact the original setup i felt was too rolli polli. Now its great, bends are taken with a lot more speed and control.
If u can afford it then definately go for adjustables, that way u can tailor the settings to ur specs.
Oh and also H&R are well known as the Rolls Royce of suspensions (not my words but a magazine b4 anyone flips out)

always take humps with care how much did you pay? If its not outrageous then it might get done this year.
