I noticed that one of may front parking bulbs was out, I called Dundee Audi. car booked in today for the 60,000 AVS service. They had undercut Perth Audi by £60.00 @ £240.00.
Asked if they would fit new bulb, they would but wanted £39.00, phoned Perth audi who fitted for free if I bought the bulbs for £2.00... Hmm, odd pricing structure here. Anyway, got a courtesy car..... A4 2.0 Tdi S Line, got to say I am loving it and especially like the auto engine off when stationary. Although it freaked me out at first.

Your experience is quite common. Some dealers will charge you for everything whereas some realise the goodwill in looking after you.
If would be interesting what the charge would be if you had had the car serviced at DD and then went back next week for the bulb.

I have to say I can't fault that dealer, they always seem to be competitive and have impeccable customer service. |
