When touching up have you got to remove the layers of sealant, wax etc before painting?
Cheers

[/ QUOTE ]

I would - just to be sure, for the sake of cleaning with thinners or other solvent. The guide posted by Big Al is really good. Havent tried it but will be doing so in the future.

Just tracking back a bit, what process and materials did you use for the sanding down/making good etc UBM? (except the paint info of course).

I recently refurbished my alloys again with Z17, Avus Silver, after intially refurbishing them using the Würth silber. The Würth colour was slightly duller than the OEM and I was never quite happy with the finish. This was even more evident when I put on the spare. The contrast is quite startling. Also the Würth laquer was not as good IMO.

For those who are interested the part number for a 300ml spray set is LLS 0M6 Z17.
