Remove the cover to the rear washer. and pull the nozzle off and then push your washer stalk and see if water comes out. If it does then your nozzle is blocked. They are only £4.00 from Audi.

Also check in the boot on the left hand side for damp, the washer hose may have broken around the hinge and can be pumping water into the media tray in the boot if you have one fitted.

There is also a service bulletin because the hose splits near the top left of the boot door from continually opening and closing and getting pinched, they chop out 6" of the plastic pipe and put some rubber in to join it back up.

Hi All,
I think my washer problem stems from a leak beneath the front of the car below the passenger seat area any ideas why I topped the washer bottle up and operated the rear washer then water pours from the said area but not the rear washer Also is there supposed to be 2 rear fog lamps on my A6 as if there is one of the bulbs have gone but i cannot find how to change the damn thing as always any help or advice very much appreciated

I worked on an A6 today, whole of the passenger compartment below the seat flooded with about an inch of water. Killed the BT ECU under the seat totally. Took ages to dry out the floor enough to put the parts back.

The hose had split apart for the rear wash wipe. This is a common fault apparently. The tube connectors are just below the BT ECU box and thse break apart, just plugged them back together again.
