Thanks for all of the input. I live in the middle of nowhere in the Suffolk countryside and the roads here are awefull. From the sound of it the ride on 20's would not be great.
The best upgrade for ride and noise I had was when I switched to Avon tyres from my Pirellis.
Made life much more comfy...........Damn! I must be getting old.

was just wandering crasher, what brand of tyres you using on the 20inch s lines? My tyres are herendous!

I really rate Avons - a great British product [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/169144-ok.gif[/img]

I replaced a set of Pirellis on my modified 300ZXTT with ZZ1s (now superseded by the ZZ3) and was astonished by the reduction in noise.

On the A8 I find the Avons to be a quieter and more comfortable than the OEM Dunlops with no downside except that the Avon's sidewalls are more rounded and therefore don't look quite so good.
