Default Q5 breaks cover?

Scanned from Auto Bild. Real or fake? Looks pretty convincing to me, although speculation is rife that some of the images have been 'tampered with':

No way that's a photo-chop.

I like the comment in the first pic - "Welcome home. The interior is clear and stylish".

Well yes, you'd kind of expect that

It's still pig-ugly though. It looks like a combination bewteen a squashed Q7 and a stretched A3.

The wheels are photoshopped on, the rest appears legit

Youre right about the photoshop wheels.

Those are the same ones from the allroad and they look different depending on which side of the car they are on in real life. In the photo the wheels have been 'mirrored' and tunred arround the other way.

I know this wheel shape very well as I looked at it in detail when considering the allroad. As the wheel is not symetrical in shape, it looks different on one side to the other (look carefully and you will see what I mean).

When the wheel is on the other side of the car, it looks different.

The picture of the wheels has definately been tampered with.

As for the rest of the car - can't make up my mind if I like it or not.....time will tell

There will be a TDI version of one of those in my garage to replace the other halfs A4 Avant.

Probably when the S-Line versions arrive.

Looked at X3 again, and the new Tiguan, but the Audi is really well thought out IMO.
