I think it looks fab.

Makes a BMW X3 look even less appealing in the smaller SUV sector.

Agree. Same sagging seat as on TT's though.

I'll admit it's not as ugly as an X3, but it is just as pointless.

I guess women will buy one ("cos the Q7 is too big!"), but I can only see two reasons why a man would buy a Q5 (or an X3 for that matter):

1. His wife has cut his balls off.
2. He can't afford a Q7/X5.

Unfortunately you are quite right. Personally I would go for an A4 Avant.

Nah - Q7s are ****e. Too big, too heavy. But no boot. weird.
The Q5 will handle more like an X5 (they hope)

The 'where's the boot' game on the Q7 has always mistified me.

I think it looks fantastic and it with the new generation of diesels Audi are bringing out it will have low emmisions and high MPG. It has the looks of the Q7 but none of the drawbacks. I would certainly have one over an A4 Avant (but not the A4 Allroad when thats annouced

)
