The current TT hasn't been out for that long.... must only be 18 months or so!!
I'm sure someone else will be able to be a little more precise.

LOL just proves how much the Mk2 is now just another part of the line up (unlike the original), now that people ask about its 2 yearly facelift! PMSL.

I think the first ones were 56 plates - so Spet 06 reg cars - 2 years old now, 3 years old for an 09 facelift - would be about right for a refresh, was about that for the MK1 wasnt it?

The only 'facelfift' the mark 1 got was different headlight surround colours, differnt gear knob, lower suspension and 18 9 spokes at standard, hardly a 'facelift' compared to what Audi do nowadays with the designs imho.

Don't forget the huge impact of the newer front grille with its fewer horizontal slats on the MY03 model. Remember the dealing waffling on about it when I picked mine up. You really do have to be a geek to notice!

3 Bar grille came in Oct 2002, a few months after the S Line, then standard spec came in, this was in theory the mk1 facelift itself imho. My car was registered on 1st Sep 2002 so it has all the facelift stuff EXCEPT for the 3 bar grille and the Bose Dynamic noise control thingy (Thank god!).

The Mk2 TT was launched to the dealers in Germany in June 2006 and rolled out over there in July 2006 - Audi were holding a conference at the Dorint at the Nurburgring when we were there for Scumball 2006.

I wouldn't expect anything major to happen to the Mk2 for a while
