Hi all,
I'm posting on behalf of a friend who has a 2003 225 bhp TT with 150000 miles. At the last MOT bushes were mentioned but nothing specific. Handling is fairly sloppy and we need some advice on shocks/springs/bushes. Which ones, where from and who do we trust to do the work? The car is never likely to see a track but it would be nice to freshen up the handling. He's happy with the performance for now and braking seems fine. My own experience has been with tuning a Volvo T5 but I'm not sure what I've learnt applies to a TT! Would appreciate your thoughts, Huw. |

Hi there
Not sure where you are based but I'd recommend APS (Automotive Performance Services) in Brackley who know TTs and Audi inside out. They did all the work on al 3 of my previous TTs and could recommend what bushes etc to replace the OEM ones with. I've used H & R springs and Koni sports chocks on mine in the past and been very happy with the results. APS Homepage |

Another vote for APS, but it does depend where you are in the UK - they're in the midlands.
If you're replacing the bushes, you could go for Powerflex, which you can get from Awesome GTI. I've run these on my last three cars as well as on my current track toy. A bit more expensive, but worth it to reduce flex. HTH
