New Insignia VXR, it looks rather good
I saw some pictures of this earlier in the week and to my eyes it looks pretty darn good. Add to that its 4wd and pumps out 321bhp and will cost circa 30k and this could be a nearly new bargain.
It just looks right some how and I had a quick sit in one last week when my better half's car was in for a service and inside its a very nice place to spend time, it really is impressive.
They need to sell cars and I think this is going to be a hit for those that don't want to go premium, I might even have a look at one myself.

Must agree! Looking good!
Nicest VXR going.
However, I did like the old Vectra VXR (obviously)"There will be no whitewash in the White House." Richard M Nixon.

Nothing about that car does anything for me.
More badly built, massively depreciating, unreliable tosh from Vauxhall...

I have seen a few of these in white, not the VXRs and they are better looker then old Vectras!
Only a few things that i dont like about VXR's is various auto mags have done video tests or drag races and the VXR8 just wasnt as quick as C class AMG, Lexus sport thing or 3 series and dident have the techolnolgy to put the power down.
Also i see three medals there, i think that went out of fashion and out of performance along time ago? Esp. as its Vauxhall clutch!

Thats interesting to me, many that I've mentioned the car to said it looks like an Audi or Merc in style terms. Autocar have got one long term and they said it feels like its incredibly well built up there with what the best german cars have to offer, time will tell if that shows true or not.
Also a quote in the magazine explained that one of the first cars one of the dealers sold was to a woman, who got an Insignia instead of a new Merc because it looked and felt so good.

You can see some bows to German design in the interior (although Opel is German, so they probably had some influence, given the Insignia is supposed to be going to all world markets).
It just looks like another Euro box, like the B8 A4 does (with a dash of extra fuss with its front lights)

There are a couple of Insignias on the cab fleet now, something about them just doesn't look right, I think the front and rear are too narrow, and it makes it look like a banana when you look at it from anything other than directly side on.

I think the sport tourer is better looking than the hatch. In fact, possibly the best looking medium estate out there. Now that would be interesting in VXR form.
