I'm still unhappy with the RA PRO connected, last night it would not find a satelite for 3 hours despite being powered on and off many times. So completely useless for my journey home.
It seems to be a recurring theme of this unit even after firmware updates. I don't see why I should have to stop my car, unplug the USB connector, wait a while and reconnect it just to get it to work.

I used to get loooong delays of several hours too on my New Road Angel (naff name!). I've only had a couple of delays on my PogoAlert while satellite searching and no longer than a few minutes.

Hi All, New to the forum!
Came across this topic when looking online for some reviews on the RA Professional Connected. If I can add, I have had 0 problems with mine at all! Satellites pick-up really quick (quicker than i can reverse out of my drive!) I also have no issues with the alerts, all are in good time and false alarms are minimal (compared to the Talex that it replaced!). Very pleased with the device on a whole! Hope you get your probs fixed with yours! Cheers Chris |

Another vote against here, I have owned my paperweight with lights when it decides to switch on, since June of this year, during which time I have covered approx 10,000 miles, 4k across Europe and that is another story! But as well as not liking being warm and I mean warm not hot, they also don't like the cold my unit just shuts down in the morning when I get in the car and it has been cold, the unit is hardwired but fails to start until I am 45 minutes into my journey, save yourself the hassle and buy a decent product, as for the false camera van alerts I too am yet too see 1 despite when the unit is functioning it giving lots of false alerts that tend to make you start ignoring the unit
