Default iPhone 3G : Pairing with Audi Bluetooth ?

Hi,
From reading the tech spec does anybody know if the new iPhone 3G will pair with existing Audi bluetooth setups ?

TIA

I don't see any reason why it won't, but who really knows until they have one in their hands. Regardless of the spec on paper, it is no guarantee it will actually work with a specific car system.

Hi

1st time post, ive just bought a new A4 Sline cab, with low prep.phone can find car and vice versa ,however when i click the mode button on the steering wheel to use it,it keeps coming up "button not used" ,phone is N95 which according to audi is on the aprroved list etc, however i cant read the sim from dash or radio, can receive calls but dont know who there from ,and cant make calls unless its from the phone itself, which sort of makes the whole kit redundant !

Any suggestions ???

Download the Nokia 810 contacts download manager onto your N95, delete pairing with the car and startup the Contacts download manager. Set it to autostart on starting the phone.

Re pair the phone to the car and the contacts should download.

I found my iphone paired no problems with full steering wheel integration exept that-

The only thing is pressing the voice dial on the steering wheel - it says my phone book is empty!
If i use the panel to look at my phone or mode (on st wheel) and scroll through my phone book its all there?

Also when the hell are audi going to release an iphone cradle?? BMW and Mercedes offer one!

The phone book will be empty until you add voice tags. The phone book it is referring to is the 50 voice tags you store in the phone module, not the Iphone one transferred over bluetooth to the car.

Also Audi have released an Iphone cradle, I saw one at my dealers over a month ago.

Just called the parts department (thought best to bypass the sales people altogether) and sure enough (I didnt doubt you Craig!) they have them in stock for £100.

So I got one put by and will go and get it in a couple of hours.

Thanks
