Default Audi Sat Nav & Speed Cameras

Does anyone know if it is possible to add speed camera locations to the Audi Sat Nav system?

It's for my A5 which has the MMI and DVD based sat nav.

Cheers.

This has been on the "I wish my Audi sat nav did...." list on Navigation Forum for 2 years!

Audi don't seem to want to do it, so unless someone can hack the code or Audi make it open source it's not going to happen.

I use a PogoAlert for speed camera warning.

Don't hold your breath waiting ....

And even if they did it would be pretty useless,.... the maps are frozen in about May/June for the update that becomes available in the following January. So the speed camera database would be so out of date that it would be worse than useless since it would lull you into a false sense of security.

The only sensible option would be for the database to be read from a USB stick on the AMI or the SD card on the RNS-E.
