Audi Phone Prep - Low

Hope you can all help as I have seem some similar threads below.

I am about to pick up an 08 Plate A4 with GSM Phone Prep Low. I don't want to go down the cradle route (that would mean a new phone for one), and would like to use BT to my Blackberry. So from what I have seen elsewhere on this forum, will BT be available to me and if it is not there when I get the car, is there a way to activate it?

Sorry for the lame question, BMW make it so easy, and the Dealer in this case is non to helpful

Phone prep low will have BT and integrate no probs with the Blackberry.

Thanks Craig. I am assuming that I will just be able to search from the phone and it will find the car?

Even Audi CS told me that BT wouldn't be there with low phone prep in the centre arm rest- would just like to get my hands on it now to find out...

Yes, you just insert the key and turn the ignition on, then search for the phone kit from the phone.

I had a customer that received two tickets for using his phone whilst driving because Audi told him he did not have bluetooth. But when he came to me his car was fitted with a cradle plate and it was bluetooth
