It does work, but they got the controller wrong on the MMI 3G, it's 5F, not 07
Edit, he's ammended it now.

I'd like to try this. Anyone with VCDS/VAG-COM in Northampton?
I know a garage who will let me use theirs, but they charge £25 for the privilege

Did it an on a new A5 cab with MMI 3G today no problems.
