Intermittent problem
at the moment i have an intermittent problem with my S2. occasionally when you put your foot down the revs pick up and then die and car goes into kagaroo like mode, if this happens i obviously ease off gas alot.
But even then it still picks up then dies for about 20 seconds after. i thought i had solved the problem since it hadnt happend for a month or so but did it again on cold eve. One thing ive noticed is that it only seems to do it when it is cold weather, but car is upto temp. ive checked the short HT leads between coil and spark plugs and all have the correct resistance but have seen better days but was reluctant to buy a set from audi since each 1 is 27 and i would need 5!! any ideas what else i should check? also no error codes been logged, but will double check that again now. |
