I took the plunge a few months ago and bought the Autobrite HD lance and snow foam. I didn't really want to spend that much on a pressure washer attachment but I can confirm that is really is excellent.
I tend to mainly use it in the winter months when my car gets very dirty. A foam soak and rinse session removes 90-95% of the grime and helps avoid swirling the paint when I finally take the buckets and washmit to it. I don't always use it in the summer as I wash my car at least weekly and I should imagine that foaming the car first and then shampooing probably takes it toll a little on the wax LSP, so choose to just rinse the car well with the hose spray before using a two bucket method. Then there is the fun factor of using the foam lance too ![]()
