No way! It's far too protected for that!

My old grandad used to laugh at his neighbour always washing his car, 'your going to wash that full of holes' he used to tell him, and sure enough, his car rusted itself away.

On a related note, here's a question I've been pondering recently: if you're away on holiday/for the weekend and the car gets dirty, what's your best plan (assuming you don't have all your kit with you)? Leave it mucky until you get home? Quick pressure wash at the local garage? Maybe Jon can give us some info on his "away from home" routine.
I've just purchased some Optimum No Rinse. Its a solution to a 'quick wash'.
Check it out on youTube, superb.
I'm yet to try ONR but after seeing it on YouTube I'm a possible quick wash convert !.

Well, the neighbour's car clearly can't have been of Germanic build quality.....
