Just a quick note to say sold my car to these guys this week, offered over the phone after some e-mailed pics and paid up without question after seeing the car in the flesh by bank transfer, enabled me to secure a great deal on another car quickly.
So a personal recomendation from me.

I sold my A4 Avant 2.5TDI Quattro Sport to them a few years ago, excellent service and they beat Aston Green Audi's price by over 2k as it was immaculate. It was sold straight away so someone on a waiting list i suspect.
Thoroughly recommended. Jon.

My old B6 S4 ended up there as well and got sold on quickly. On a similar note there seem to be a lot of B6 S4's appearing in Audi dealers at the moment, my local one has 3. Wonder if it's people chopping in because of fuel and road-tax costs?

Has to be a feature but B6 S4's are now all in the 3-5 year age range where people often sell up. Mine is an 03 with 50k miles and is not worth a lot but it does drink a lot! They seem very robust cars so I'm tempted to just keep it as an occasional car as the idea of shelling out £45k for the replacement doesn't do much for me.
Anyway if I keep it another five years, it will only have 80k on it at ten years old. If its worth £3k then then its depreciated £2k pa over its 2nd five year period which is ok. I still prefer it to the idea of getting an A3 or Golf as the basic ones are basic and the fast ones use Quattro that doesn' work very well (not a fan of Haldex). |
