Thumbs up Russell Automotive

Audi & Volkswagen Independent Specialist Garage - Quality and Technology at Affordable Prices

I've done a search and it does not look like there are any reviews of the Audi / Vw Specialist.

Well my car has decided to behave badly (another thread on the A4 section) and the car went over to Steve at Russell Automotive this morning.
He is an ex-Audi Master Technician with 20 years of experience and only works on VAG cars.
On first impressions it looks very well organised, clean and helpfull.

Will keep you posted once he comes back to me with a diagnosis.

Ok, Had a call yesterday morning with the car being diagnosed with a faulty EGR Valve.
They had done a complete road test with the diagnostics plugged in to give an exact account of what was happening.
Gave him the go-ahead to do the work £283 all in, got a call first thing this morning telling me the car was ready for collection.
They are charging £65 an hour labour but i must say that they have done a great job.

I turned up and the car was looking gleaming, washed and vacumed.

Nice guy and a pleasant experience.

Good to hear something positive about an indie - well, they can't be any worse then a stealer!

You are most welcome. As a lot of people on here will say, its becoming harder and harder to find a good, reliable and someone that knows their stuff in an independant specialist.

I hope you start seeing some TSN members soon.

Thumbs up Top service!

I was looking for a reliable Indy myself and after reading this tread decided to get my car serviced at Russell Automotive this week.
Car was serviced and throughly inspected by knowledgeable staff, washed and vacumed.
10% discount on labour as promised

Very good service, highly recommended!
