Default Frankenstein's monster (kit car monstrosity) for Fizz

A few questions :

1-What is the poor donor car that was put to death to create this ?
2-Who do they aim to fool with the finished thing ?
3-Why waste time on money on it ?
4-Are the ropes a performance aid ?
5-If, just if, the finished thing does look vaguely like a Ferrari, who will believe its the real thing when it is sat outside a council house in Leicester ?
6-Fizz, is this one of your 'mates' in the MR2 crowd

(squeamish readers may want to avert their eyes now)

I wasn't brave enough to venture down the drive for more pics due to rabid-looking dog.
