Unhappy 2005 Porsche Boxster S 3.2 (280bhp)

As many of you may know, mainly due to the random emigrate / boxes and visa questions on here over the last couple of months I will be leaving for New Zealand in September for a fair while and hence I cant justify keeping my car. Going to be gutted to see it go, but hopefully it can go to a decent home to someone on here who will give it the attention it deserves.
The spec on the car is as follows and is in very good condition and has been kept well washed and waxed in the year I have had it. Prior to that it was owned by a guy who kept it garaged and only put 6k miles on it in 2 years!

Stunning 2005 - 05 Porsche Boxster S 3.2 (987) £23,995
20500 miles

Factory Options:
3.2, 280 Bhp 6 Speed Manual
Basalt Black Metallic with Black Interior
Full Leather Interior
Heated Sports Seats
19" Carrera S Alloys
Xenon Headlights
Full Climate Control
6 disc Bose CD autochanger and Bose sound package PLUS
Park Assist (PDC)
Wind Deflector
Coloured Porsche Crest Wheel Centre Set
Auto Dimming Mirrors
RAC Trackstar

Optional:
Dension Gateway 500 Fibre Optic iPod Connection
Parrot CK3100 Handsfree bluetooth phone kit

This car has been well looked after and regularly topped up with Victoria Concours Wax and had its rear tyres changed 2000 miles ago.

Please send me a pm on here or call me on 0207 303 0931 for more infomation or to see the car / get more photos (will add more to thread tonight) which can either be seen in SE6 London, Lincoln or Leeds over the next few weeks. EDIT - Car is now in Leeds.

£23,995 ono

Good luck! Helping a mate sell a 2005 987, and that is more than dealer money!

Ah... that was not a great start. If anyone wants to pay the previous price you are more than welcome and will be happy to throw in a bonus bag of cheesy poofs... Price has now been amended by the cost of a couple of fiat 500's.

Now somewhere to start from as I dont want the stealers getting the car back! Its way too nice to be washed by a 15 year old with a gritty sponge!

So why is it at the moment people can come along with crazy offers for cars. Is this just the market at the moment and are any sellers actually accepting these prices?

Happy to negotiate on price but hoping to keep my kidneys in the process!

Hello Mate

I just had a look on Pistonheads for a 3.2s and they are available from around £22k upwards.

I do feel bad for you - when you buy one of these after 3 years 36k miles your supposed to be able to pull approx 70% of its value!
In this case your looking at under 50% which is not very good.

I dunno what to say but unless you ask for money thats in the same range its gonna be difficult Have you had much interest?

Good luck! can you take it down to NZ with you???

Not a good climate to be selling anything mate... people seem to think sellers are desperate and offer silly money.

Try selling a house at the moment

Good luck with the sale

Selling cars is bloody hard work at the moment. Mine is £1k cheaper than anything else out there and I haven't had a single viewing in three weeks of it being advertised.
