Anyone hazzard a guess as to how much it's worth? (More than the £20500 Audi are offering for it, surely?)

Jon, I'm afraid a car is only worth what someone is prepared to pay for it. Have you looked on Autotrader to see what is being asked for similar aged cars to yours? Have you tried Howard yet?

Dealers are asking £22,000 to £22,500 for cars your age. You could probably sell it privately for £21 - 21.5k, so it's worth between £20,500 the dealer offered you and £21,500 on a really good day and a bit of luck on Autotrader.

I sold my 2002/02 car for £20k, and saw a very high spec (18" wheels etc) go for £21k recently so the figures are about right.

25MPG - blimey. Can someone who has measured the DIS statistic and the actual consumption (amount of fuel put in vs miles) verify this?

Yes, I tried Howard, he seemed to think that the dealership offer was about right, and he couldn't beat it [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

I guess I'll try my luck on here and autotrader - I guess I'd ask £21500 for a quick sale. Hopefully someone will realise a bargain when they see one!
