Bmw f800s

Anyone have any views on these or ridden one ? There was one in the bike shop & it looked quite a good sport/street bike - haven't ridden it yet but they seem to have favourable opinions when googled but only found the launch review.

Never had a parallel twin before but sound as if would be more versatile than the Pegaso (a much better bike than I initially expected) without going down the "super sports" route ?

I like em - but I would definately check out the Kawasaki ER6 or Versys (especially) which is good bit cheaper and just as good. I seriously thought about the F800 and the F650 - what put me off was cost. I reckon the Kawa does the same thing for less... (then I went further down that route looking for a non-supersport bike and got an old VFR for a lot less)

Anyway.... the BMW... great bike. Great idea. Well built. Try a test ride...
