Default Advice - Alpinestars - Track Pants vs Apex Pants

Im after some leather pants that will suit my Alpinestars RC1 jacket. Anyone know what the main differences are betweek the track pants and the apex pants??

The apex pants seem to be new on the scene for 2008 and about 60 quid cheaper than the track pants. Funny thing is the apex pants also have hip protection and the track pants dont!

Whats the catch? apex cheaper and with better protection???

That's got to be a question for an Alpinestars dealer, surely?

Tell us how you got on

Plenty of Alpinestars dealers about. Demon Tweeks do the range I think.

Where are you based? Always best to go and try kit on in person IMO.

I was sent this today via email:

The main difference between the Track pants and Apex pants are the track
pants use a better grain of leather and the cut of the leather is different
they are more ergonomically designed more for the race track rider, the
Track pants also feature perforated sections in the design but both pants
have protection around the hip section.
