Default Anyone fancy a ride this Sunday

I'm at a loose end this Sunday, and was wondering if anyone fancied a ride out somewhere in the South East of the country somewhere?

Anyone got any ideas?

You do know it's gonna rain on Sunday don't you? If you're still up for it then I'll see what I can organise

[1] Fair play for coming out expecting rain. There's too many fair weather bikers out there

[2] Really glad that the forecasters got it wrong and we stayed dry. It's much more fun.

Good idea to go out for a run. I hope you enjoyed the varying types and conditions of the roads. Sorry for the mucky lanes. You can blame TomTom.

You can now tick off Finchingfield as done. Only the Ace Cafe, High Beech, Box Hill, etc etc to go

Well I spent £60 on some waterproofs so I hope to be getting some use out of them

Just for the record we managed.

Motorways
A Roads
B Roads
Dual Carriageway
C-Roads
and a place that looked like it was a bloomin' swamp

Good riding!!!

I am much more comfortable of having a smooth predictable progressive ride rather than riding like i stole it.

That said it didn't take me long to get back but I need a wind deflector badly..... now where's my parcel from Ermax

I don't recall Box Hill from the TT days. Maybe it was the one meet I didn't attend

Re the ride : I'm not about getting the maximum possible from every bend and every straight. It's just not worth it for me. I've got too much too lose and it's just not a priority. Getting home everyday is. .....even if sometimes taking a flyer of an overtake and then thinking better of it gets you in a sticky situation! Oops live and learn eh?

I'd like to say we'll never go via the swamp again but I don't have a clue where it was!

Re wind deflector : You're the one who bought a naked bike! I thought they was all about getting blown off the back at 130mph!! I just have to suck my gut in and hunker down

Your turn to show me (and hopefully Mick) the sights of Kent next

p.s. You definately more confident that I was with just 500 miles under the belt!
