Default Bugger...

I did 2 days at the California superbike school this week. Just outside the track on a gravel road I managed to slide and flip my trailer with the bike on it. It flicked round and hit the side of the car and turned over. Bike and trailer had to be taken home on a truck and I had to hire a bike for the 2 days (GSXR600 - nice bike)... so its been a bit of an expensive weekend....

A few pics to point and laugh at...

Oh feck - sorry to hear that mate.

Hope it's repairable and not too costly. Or is it a certain insurance job?

It wasn't after the track it was before I entered... 7am right outside... hence the hire bikes. I'll have to claim on the car and bike policies to repair the car , bike and trailer. Nasty.

Sorry got confused. I now get you fecked the bike and had to ride a hire one of the two days.

I hope the insurance process isn't too painful

That is bad luck I suppose at least the damage was at a fairly low speed. Hope you get everything sorted out OK - the accident forms must be interesting Car driver = Mort, Bike rider = Mort !

Ouch- Bike £1500, car £750, trailer

Simple error, and bad luck. Were you laughed at, or was everyone decent about it

Dont think anyone noticed really.... expensive couple if days at the track though....(Reckon about £1K)...

All parts for the bike have to come from Japan (They stock f*ck-all parts here)....that'll take about a month. On the subject of parts...I once waited 4 months for a part for my GasGas dirt bike and 9 (yes nine) months for a part for my Arai Helmet. I've learned now its often cheaper and faster to order parts from the UK.
