I'm sure you are a compo chaser, but since there will be a claim for damage to bile and clothing you should build a claim for PI.

You have been hurt by a 3rd party, and my logic is that part of the lesson for the wonker should be:-
  • Reported to police for careless driving and illegal turn
  • Full cost of repairs and replacement of personal items
  • PI compo for injury, upset and time off work (take a few days off)
  • Replacement wheels while yours is off road
Hope the pain isn't too bad this morning

Bloody hell, Scotty - sorry to hear about this. Were you on the small or big bike?

Ref Sam's comment - I understand them - they just don't f*cking look where they're going. And it's not just white van men.

Agree!, the amount of times I've nearly been hit by cars on my cycle is a joke. you get two types of drivers.. those that give you plenty of room and other f*ckers that try and clip you.

Owwww!

Glad the injuries are no worse Scotty. Hopefully the damage to bike and gear is all fairly easily fixable/replaceable. Any chance of a due care charge for white van ****yboy?

Sadly I think you're right - I nearly got taken out a couple of months back, I had my video running at the time... YouTube - Near Miss!

I remember seeing that when you posted it Sam... how did/does your body armour gear deal with a lumpy fart attack from the inside?
