Sorry it's been a while. I'm once again in a position with time on my hands to try this again.

What I wanted to do was create a resource in the A/S 8 section for owners to allow a structured access to information. In essence there is one sticky that links to others threads that are locked, but edited by one or two people. each of these threads provides information on different aspects of the model.
I was thinking of having a Locked sticky that links to locked threads that are titled along the lines of EKTA sections + Modifications and Upgrades.

So:-

Top level - The A/S8 FAQ and answers thread - Locked and Sticky with 2 editors. This links to:-

Engine, Clutch - Locked.
Gastank and Pipelines, Exhaust system, Heater - Locked.
Transmission - Locked.
Front Axle, Differential, Steering - Locked.
Rear Axle - Locked.
So on and so forth.

Once that is done, forum members would PM the editors links to threads, posts and websites that provide quality information and the editors would update the appropriate thread and advertise the updates as required.

To achive this the admins would have to set up a number of threads and lock them. make one sticky, and give editor rights to a couple of members of the A/S8 forum to build and maintain them.

Do you think this would work and be acceptable to the board owners?
