    Silver S4
  1. Been a while.....Missing me S4 I sold months ago to pursue self-employment with www.it-supply.co.uk. Thing is I'm wanting a motor to 'play' but what do I get after running me S4? Got to be fun n quick yet not boy-racer...like me Audi's I do but mileage is round doors so maybe clio v6 more fun a la Clarkson! Any ideas?
  2. Check it out...word of mouth always best....better I do the more chance I have of getting that RS6 upgrade I always wanted!!!!! Saloon of course....Cant believe I've gone from an S4 to a Merc Vito 110CDI (got chrome 18"s on it though!)
  3. Check it out....quit six figure paid employment and sold the S4 to go self-employed....IT asset management, IT recycling, ex-corporate IT and selling globally to schools, SMEs, Joe Public and webshop. Great cheap branded laptops, PCs, monitors...you name it. Getting quantities of kit daily. Word of mouth always best so go do me a favour and tell 10 people! Can work commission out for people aswell to simply reward a conversation! Get paid to talk!!!!! ps Sunderland 2 Millwall 1....Haway the Lads.
  4. Surround Sound thingies!

I've just got a new Panasonic 32" TX30PD tv with Panasonic SCHT1000 DVD-R home cinema recordable system and a matching video and it's the dogs b*llocks! What hi-fi 5 stars. Check out latest mag as it's featured. I paid for the IXOS Scart leads x 4 @ £40 each but well worth the money in both sound quality and picture quality. On it's own the SCHT1000 is awesome and looks all neony at night. Sexy. Llintone Audio gave good advice if it helps.
  5. PC/Laptop advice..

check out www.it-supply.co.uk - mate of mine locally and you'll save a FORTUNE believe me!!!! Can order on web aswell and pay securely via credit cards through his Worldpay services. £300 is all you need to start with on something decent and just refresh it every year or so = no depreciation and you build up without having to fork out a big wedge. Netgear PCMCIA wireless card (£30) and a wireless access point/firewall/router (£70) and you can watch Sky sports while surfing the web on your laptop or be in the garden etc...just done it myself on my home ADSL setup with a few PCs and a laptop.
  6. S4 = SOLD! End of an era but had to be done for progress. This time next year RS6 hopefully!!!!! Vito 110CDI here I come!!!!! ha ha
  7. PC100 RAM Needed

heh heh...nice try!! I have a fair bit but nothing that size or it'd be in my PCs....do me a favour on selling me S4 to a friend or similar and I'll sort some out for you - now there's an incentive. S4, 10k worth of extras, silver, 61k miles, FMDSH, 4 new tyres, 4 new brake discs and pads, £13.5-£14k car IS THE MILLENIUM FALCON in disguise....(well to me it is anyway) 2hrs and 40mins from Luton Airport to Newcastle Airport must be a record????? ha ha it was 4am though and I was feeling mighty rebellious - just totally lucky there were NO police about...anywhere... go on sell it to yer mate and I'll sort you out some. ha ha
  8. What's it worth?

good advice, cheers for that...I'll try my best!
  9. PC100 RAM Needed

u get sorted out? I have some I could sort out for you. Spookily I'm in Chapeltown in Sheffield tomorrow! I'd need to get it first from somewhere but I can easy post some to you if you list your address on a PM to me (to be private!) I'm selling me S4 by the way! Decided!!!!
  10. S4 for sale...

After months and months of decision-time I'm selling the Falcon. (S4!) It's Addison Audi's ex-demonstrator and has every option available bar cruise & Sat nav. It's done 61k miles, full dealer sh, usual t&t crap, 4 new Goodyears....what's it worth private sale? Anyone have a realistic 'street price' of it's worth? It's in silver. Good condition. I checked out auto trader and they range (99 on a T-reg) from £10995-£15995! I'm going to sell it in February so I need some pointers from the people in the know. ????? If you know anyone who wants a quality S4 then contact me for full spec.

  12. YIKES! Just remembered....swarfega one was for 'cleaning' the hoods...jsut aswell you didn't all go out and rub big blobs of green jelly into yer mohair! That'd have made me popular There's also a special cream cleanser you can get whenever you have a plastic rear view window (to prevent those blinding sunlight scratches from behind) but obviously for glass normal cleaner prevails...god I sound like George Bush "prevails" - how can you tell he came to the North East recently...ha ha...even went down the local boozer with his mate Tone..
  13. AD Dial-in tab missing

.net strikes again....sorry I coulda helped you in 2mins flat....just logged on after a few weeks...glad you got it sorted. 2003 Outlook - seen it yet? 'bounce emails' is a giggle...(well just a little one anyway! )
  14. Windows 2000 Folder Refresh

Go get hold of Windows 2003 and Outlook 2003 - it's awesome...loads of tricks in there.... good call about the check box from the lad above. Also get XP Pro if you cant' trace 2003 from a 'source'!!!
  15. help with decent wireless setup

Could put in some more access points or go get a better quality wireless setup (assuming you pursue the money back malarkey!).....for most businesses I spec Cisco Aironet gear but spookily there's a device out there that is an all-in-one....think it's a VIDEK DSL router, access point, hub and firewall...port-city and has everything!....we use it for "SO/HO" (small office / home office) type solutions. I avoid DLINK where I can....it has it's fans but then again Stevie Wonder has never seen Microsoft Windows either!
