thanks for the replies guys. change of heart shall i say. decided to go for a r8 for a weekend car and range rover sport for day to day use. range rover sport ordered for sept delivery. and on the look out for an r tronic used r8.

my q7 was stolen some 2 weeks ago and now im looking for a a8 3.0 tdi but not wanting to splash big money due to a new business venture and still not been paid out on the q7. has anyone done a facelift conversion inc led rear lights. how hard isit to do and what sort of costs. will a 100k car be asking for trouble. have seen a few at 110k for around 10k£

ive been going private to get the work done. brake pads front and back set me back 300 supplied and fitted and tyres around 165 a corner for the 22".

would have imagined it to be a simple swap over. looking forward to pics. so how long do other q7 owners intend to keep theirs? i love mine yet im a little bored with it. could be to due to me been 20. q7 is a great car and i would recomend it to others even thou it eats tyres and brake pads

will post up some better pics once ive gave the car a full polish. black grill does make it look mean...im quite tempted to buy th fcelift version when it comes out but im in two mind with the credit crunch. biglad uk can you post some pics of your car mate. i was thinking of doing the same to mine. have sent my wheels away to have them powdercoated black with red lip.

exhausts are tips welded on and the bumper shaved to make them fit but to be honest i dont like them. looks cheap however some people have commented on them lookng good. how much was it for running boards if you dont mind me asking

i get an easy 20 mpg with town driving and 27-30 on the motorway 80-90mph have had a 34.1 on the motorway cruising at 56mph for 60 miles

economy gets better with mileage. bought mine in july 08 and is now sitting at 16k miles and averaging 20mpg around town and 28ish on the motorway.
