Yeah might try Araldite, but thread is about the washer covers not headlamp protectors. Mentioned the heated seat problem in the origianl post - seems now they need to undo the seam on the front seats to fit a new element inside? Sounds really dodgy to me but they say they have confirmed it 3 times! It's going in for 2 days work now! I mentioned that people on this forum had the same problem and just had the switches replaced, but the dealer is adament. Oh well, I'm sure they know what they are doing.....

Watch out everyone, I was washing the car the other day and knocked the headlamp washer cover clean off with a sponge!!! There is only a very weak plastic bracket holding them on and it snapped. Superglue seems to have done the trick for now and it hasn't fallen off yet after a few light washes at fair speed. They really look like such an afterthought, nothing like those on say a TT which are flush with the bumper. I'm having the heated seats sorted at the moment and also an annoying rattle from the ashtray looked at. Apart from that still smile everytime I go in the car and always take the 'long way home'

Hi all, I was reading through the manual the other day (sad but true) and it says that you can fold the mirrors using the adjustment switch on the drivers side. It also says that the nearside mirror can be made to dip when you select reverse. Do I have a fault or is the manual just reffering to another car i.e. passat? Any thoughts ?

Stories like this give me a naughty little smile Had a nice little play with a Fiat 20V Turbo on Sunday on a bypass from a standing start up to girlfriend starts to moan speeds - there was nothing in it up to about 70 then I pulled him in slightly before easing off. Would have loved to have met him without the GF alongside.....

Congratulations, gald you're pleased with the conversion . Did AMD give you any idea of performance gain ie 0-60 or 0-100? Or could you have a rough guess for us? I guess the best way is to find an S2000 or similar on a dry bypass from a traffic light start.....

Just wondered how many people on here have made the switch from a TT to an R32? I have and it was the best move I've ever made. I had a chipped, lowered, Miltek'd 270Bhp roadster and the R32 blows it away on every front. From real character in the engine department to actually giving feedback from the tyres/suspension - even compared to HR/Konis on the TT. Awesome - just looking forward to putting a few more miles on (only done 900) and going for some AMD 300 treatment !!
