already got a fresh one in. Anyone know weather it's worth getting the software and flasher for ecu's? Can do your own mapping!

Thought 40 bhp might be on the optomisitc side when you see "upto" 30 bhp quoted everywhere else. Also a concern! Have read on other forums that K&N's aren't all that good for TDI's in particular they knacker the MAF's, Anyone know weather this is true?

Hi there, great forum etc, been a great help with info and so on but now need to ask some direct questions. I'm currently running a 1.9 TDI passat 100 bhp, I'm about to get the ECU remapped by a company called Angel tuning in lemmington, anyone heard of them?? good/bad reputation? They come to my house to do the tune for £225, didn't think that was bad. They reckon it'll have an extra 40bhp and another 55/60 p/f torque? Not sure I heard right with the torque figure but any thoughts? I've already exchanged the air filter for a K&N panel jobbie, couldn't find an induction kit, and as much as there isn't anything significant with that I've deffo niticed a increase, albeit slight, in pick up. Next thing I was thinking of doing was fitting an intercooler, it currently dosen't have one and wondered if one can be fitted and which would be the best to go for and why? Thanks in advance.
