  6. MX5 1.8i White 1995 N reg 109k miles MOT end Feb '11 Tax end Dec '10 Let me be totally honest upfront, this is not a mint example. It is however solid and very useable (and oh so much fun) being a 1.8i it has the extra power and the uprated brakes etc that came with the model and is noticeably quicker than the earlier 1,6's (dont even mention the post 94 1.6's with 88 bhp as theyre frankly awful) The hood is good, no leaks and has a brand new rear window fitted (end of july '10) the engine pulls well but still returns good mpg Immobiliser (2 fobs) 2 sets of keys Momo steering wheel genuine UK model, so no insurance worries The car does have a few small issues, but nothing to worry over (however ive always felt its best to be totally honest and mention everything in an advert) - these are as follows The engine can be tappety (common mx5 issue, and is nothing to worry about - google "mx5 noisy tappets" and "mx5 noisy hla") but it goes when warmed up Some small rust an marks Some wear to drivers seat bolster Paint has gone a bit flat and ideally needs a bit of tcut or a mop (i would do this myself, but am suffering with a bad back atm) I cant find the service history - but the V5 is present as is the mot of course Passenger window doesnt open If your looking for a mint condition example then please look elsewhere, but if you want a fun car thats not expensive to buy or run then this could be the one for you. Im after a very reasonable £1450 for the car
  7. Supercar stalking in London

im not too surprised you couldnt guess - it is in fact of all things a citroen concept car **edit oops didnt see the other post.
  8. Should I buy a Z4!!

i know just what you mean. ive got one atm that i bought to sell on - and havent advertised it yet as im simply enjoying running around in it. what i meant though is that the Z4 has no better refinement than a cheap an cheerful 20 yr old design mazda mx5. (and a lot less of the fun factor - though thats a whole different matter) whereas a boxster is a lot better refined (and in my experience a whole heap more fun)
  9. Supercar stalking in London

few guys like that - supercarslondon (or something like that) is another one who has some vids of rare cars on his YT channel. i hardly ever see anything interesting these days
  10. BMW E36 M3 3.2 Evo Coupe

    they drive nicely too.
  11. BMW E36 M3 3.2 Evo Coupe

BMW M3 Evo "Individual" Coupe Avus Blue - this was a special order colour on the Evo and not usually available. 119k miles MOT May 2011 Tax just run out. Fully stamped service book (mix of dealer and indie specialist) HPI Clear 3.2 S50B32 Engine - rated at 321ps 6 Speed Gearbox The specification of this car is very good, with lots of factory fit options Interior Grey Leather Vader Interior - m sport version MTech 3 Steering Wheel - this is a genuine bmw item and is so much nicer than the regular wheel Front Electric Windows Rear Electric Window - very rare option Electric Sunroof - this is very rare on a car with aircon Digital Aircon & Climate - this all works but ideally needs regassing for the summer Uprated BMW speaker system Anthracite roof lining and pillar covers Full OBC - all the functions work, no missing pixels and no fault errors showing on the check control Auto Dim Rear View Mirror Exterior Alloy Doors - rare option only ever found on M3 GT and some Evo's, gives approx 48kg weight saving M3 Bodykit Rainbow Spoiler - this rare item is much sought after by enthusiasts M3 Motorsport alloy wheels with wider rears - these are the later style version with no writing on the face "Evo" lip spoiler M3 Electric Mirrors ///M3 rubbing strips Clear front and side indicators Clear rear light pack PDC parking sensors - very rare option As well as these factory options the car also has a Cat 1 remote alarm (with text alert function) and a Pioneer CD player The previous owner told me the car had been fitted with eibach springs lowering it approx 25mm front and 15mm rear. I cannot find any proof of this, but the car does a little appear lower than the photos of standard press cars Hella Angel Eyes - not to everyones taste, but easily changed if you dont like them No car is perfect and of course this is no exception one of the rear arches has some rust and ideally should be attended to before next winter. The front top mounts imo will need replacing in the next 6 months, these are not an M3 specific part and only cost £27-50 for the pair from GSF, and would take approx 30 mins to fit (nb these were not even an advisory on the mot, just me knowing E36's and being fussy) As is usual for an E36 the bonnet has stone chips Overall the car is in very nice condition The leather is unripped The paint is generally very good The vanos noise is average, and the unit has had an uprated seal kit fitted (this stops the units failing as can happen with standard ones) The car drives very nicely. It stops, starts and goes very well with no nasty noises Includes a lot of history, including a fully stamped service book and old mot's It is of course HPI clear with no adverse history or outstanding finance. This is a nice example of an M3 Evolution Coupe, with the added bonus of being a genuine BMW Individual example (as confirmed by the chassis plate) Car is located in Cardiff, South Wales Its priced to sell as im only asking for a very reasonable £3995 one other thing, I also have an M3 plate on retention, that I'm willing to sell for £300 (including a set of plates with the reg on) to the buyer of the car. nb. several of the older pics show GT lip, this has been removed as i didnt like it.
  12. Ferrari`s sound investment proven ?

anyone can advertise a car for whatever price they want - doesnt mean its worth that or will sell for anything close to it. virtually £40k for a 328 is madness
  13. Should I buy a Z4!!

i drove a Z4 the other day for the 1st time. tbh i wasnt that impressed with the amount of wind buffetting with the hood down. for me it ruined what had the potential to be a good car. (that was a car with wind deflector - so god alone knows how bad one without it is) to put it into perspective i found it no better in this area than the old mk1 mx5 ive been using as a sunny day runaround recently and miles worse than a boxster
  14. British GP Banter

i hadnt heard either of those rumours myself - however they do make sense and are more than feasible
