  1. i sold mine in June & stealers were offering between 7.5K - 9K I sold it privately for 11.5K with just over 30K on it. If yours is in excellent condition i think you could hit my target
  2. [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] I don't believe Xenon's were on the options list when i bought mine new. I bought the Anni because at the time it was special & very different to the GTi's in production. The differences were an upgrade in power (extra 30 horses), a new 6sp box, 18" BBS wheels, Bodykit, improved suspension, upgraded brakes, chrome exhaust (unless diesel) & GTi badged interior trim... and it stood out in the crowd to an otherwise quite dull std GTi imo. For me, if i could order a GTi now i wouldn't go for the new Anni. My point is that i think the current GTi is already good enough & VW are clutching at straws... not quite special enough Just my opinion of course [/ QUOTE ] completely agree dude... i've always maintained that the Mk IV anni should have been the standard GTI anyway. Much of the anni's good stuff is now standard. If anything the new Anni has gone too far. Autocar reckon the extra 30hp is good for a second off the 0-60 sprint time... WTF!! somehow i think that's [/ QUOTE ] My exact feelings too, the Anni should have been the std GTi

  6. oil choice

Anyone know what oil the MkV R32 uses? Checked mine today after doing only 3500 miles & it's on minimum. Thanks
  7. Z4M Coupe

One of these followed me this morning & turned into Mill BMW. To be honest, look's wise i wasn't too impressed by magazine photo's of it but in the flesh god it was impressive, awesome actually. Twas the same colour gIzzE as the one you posted
  8. what's the bloody point?

  9. what's the bloody point?

  10. what's the bloody point?

    Had to be European
  11. I'm using an iTrip LCD with my 4th Gen iPod & to be honest the quality is pretty pants. The iCast is supposed to have greatly improved reception over any thing on the market. I'm interested to know if anyone has one & what the quality/reception is like & also if anyone has moved from an iTrip to an iCast? It is more for use in the car but i'm wanting the cash for SatNav upgrade so i need something better in the mean time. Any responses would be greatly appreciated. Sie
  12. MkV R32 - wheel choices

I agree with you regarding the Phaeton wheels, they don't look that 'aftermarket' & suit the car very well. The M3 replica's are good too. Given the choice it would be Phaetons. But each to there own...
  13. Silly Computer!

Good Luck, Its happened to us all at one point, welcome to the world of Microsoft Operating Systems
  14. Silly Computer!

Are you running any other firewall than XP SP2? If not i think still a WinSock type problem. Try this tool at your own peril.. http://www.cexx.org/lspfix.htm
  15. Tabbed browsing in IE7

    Second that one mate
  16. Silly Computer!

Download Mozilla Firefox & try that, incase its just an isolated I.E probem
  17. Silly Computer!

Does it work through another Browser, like Mozilla? I'd iamgine it's spyware/trojan/worm program. Try running spybot or Adaware to clear. Another possibility is WinSock version. Either renew with Service Pack or possibly through Windows Update.
  18. Auto Headlights

Newcastle has been fairly clear & bright earlier this morning & my lights were on all the way to work, not for the first time in these conditions either. I put it in the same category as the auto windscreen wiping... a 'Feature'
  19. Discounts on new R32 Please your advice.

Hi Oli I tried but his shirt was made of teflon, my hands kept slipping.. I was suprised when he said yes to £1K off. For the GAP, Supaguard/Diamondbrite etc i always barter for free. Those together, in some cases can amount to almost another £750. The last 3 cars i've bought now have all come included, i drive a hard bargain
  20. Discounts on new R32 Please your advice.

i was able to get £1k off the list price, also negotiated GAP insurance for free, the Supagaurd protection for free & its first service. I had nothing to trade in & it was a straight switch transaction for the car. My car i believe was a cancelled order & had arrived at the dealer that day so i could just have been lucky but it shows you can get discounts.
  21. Im joining you boys and girls.

Welcome to the R32 fold Oli I read with interest what happened to your GTi over on the GTi forum & i'm glad you found a pleasing resolution. You'll have the windows down for the majority of the drive home i'll bet
  22. RCD 500

If it says MP3 then it will play them. I've just got my missus a new Polo 1.2S. Her player has MP3 in italics above the CD slot so I burned some MP3's onto CD & it plays them perfectly, it even reads off the ID3 tags! The car i have which costs 3 times as much as hers doesn't even get that
  23. GAP Insurance is it worth it?

It is worth it if you can get it cheap. Also, if you have a very good deposit then it may not be worth while. I on the other hand negotiated mine for FOC
  24. Finally some pic's

Thanks mate. I thought they'd look to chavy for my taste but was suprised, not OTT. It defo suits a Black 32. Just get them retro-fitted, i'm sure the stealers could do it
  25. Finally some pic's

Well after 1 month of great ownership & 1400 miles later i decided to wash my car for the first time & post some snaps. The night time snaps look quite good, stealthy & Q car like [image]http://www.tyresmoke.net/ubbthreads/download.php?Number=919482[/image]
