    I don't see why this was blown up. It's hardly a problem that our Prime Minister doesn't speak "street" is it? In fact, I'm pleased.

    I saw it more as a dig at his occasional hamfisted attempts to speak 'street'.

    Although I think his quote, "Too much Tweeting can make one a tw4t," should be established as the first rule of internet social networking.

    An acronym is something which is an abbreviation that spells a word. RADAR is an acronym as is anything else you transfer to a word. IBM is an abbreviation as you don't say it as a word, but speak out the letters.

    All TLAs are TLAs. The problem is, what is a TLA. Not TLA, that is for sure. RIB is; rigid inflatable boat.
