Hmm - BBC News website mentioned restart of production at Longbridge, with link to New MG website, which takes ages to start, then flashes up an image of an orange MG (from the land of the rising sun?) which only serves to highlight how (even more) out of date the MG now looks, and - get this - when you call up the colour selections, there's no British Racing Green option, not even a Blitish Lacing Gleen.... and can anyone explain what the LE500 thing is all about? Longbridge employment target? Can't wait for the all-new MG Allegro TF LE501.3, in British Cruising Beige....

I'm guessing the "LE500" refers to the fact that they're only making 500 for the UK.
I liked this particular quote from the website though: "The new TF represents a fresh addition to the UK sports car market " Ha ha ha ha HA HAAAAAAA! |

Apparently production has been delayed by several months due to poor quality glass breaking in transit on it's way over from China.
Can't wait to queue up to buy one!
