TT with identity crisis - Page 2

Saw a MKII TT on the Ecclesall Road in Sheffield yesterday that had a similar make over. The rear was petrol R8's. The front was from the R8 diesel. It even had imitation side blades.

I'm sure that is one of the final limited edition "quattro Sport" models - gloss black roof, gloss black mirror caps, black front grille, different front bumper lower, black zorst tips, extended black rear spoiler, Recaro shell bucket front seats, no rear seats, alloy braces on centre console. Oh, and the rear alloys were ½" wider than the fronts. Still had the 1.8 20vT, but I can't remember if they gave it ant more than the standard 225 ponies.

A sacrelidge to try and call it an "RS" though!

And the next time you see it, rip off that red rear reflector!

Thanks Mook. I vaguely rememberd more ponies, but couldn't remember the detail, so didn't want to appear a tool!
