I think what pstevo meant was an example like 'T 1' or 'S4'.

There IS a Bugatti registered with the B1 number plate...

The vehicle details for B 1 are:

I was at the garage when that car was having its PDA. I wrote about it on here, find the post and you fand the answer, however I know that car. The owner had 2 delivered that day. Was at HR Owen serrvice centre in Acton.
