I managed to get mine a couple of weeks ago before they put a stop to it for £175 inc postage. So if the opportunity was available to me it why shouldn't it be available to everyone else? Perhaps they've had people buying 20 at a time and sticking them on ebay? Does anyone have a friend/colleague (preferably trustworthy ) in France who could forward them onto the UK? burble
[ QUOTE ] Does anywhere in the UK have them in stock at the moment? [/ QUOTE ] http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CO-000-NI A price from a company. I may order a couple through Amazon.FR and get them shipped to my office in Paris then get them to send them on to me.
mark88
It's amazing the amount of established retailers who are screwing over consumers and selling for massive premiums.
burble
I wouldn't put anything past that particular retailer.

hotdog
a mate of mine bought ten from Germany last week. Flogging them on ebay and they're selling like hot cakes And he's making a very, very healthy profit!! I love xmas
Snail
If your after a Wii, Game are getting them reguarly, but are ONLY selling them in packs, so you have to buy them with a couple of games. I saw both my local game, and gamestation with Stock today, but they wouldn't sell the console alone.
gizze
Well I tried to get some in France and Belgium over the weekend and had no joy at all.
forresthills
I just got one Game in Bromley! They had a big delivery....luck of the draw i guess.
bells0
Manged to fluke an order for my mate, using a thread on hotukdeals. Someone had managed to bypsass play.com's stock system and put up a direct link that put the wii in your basket - even though the site reckoned there was none in stock! Delivered 2 days later [quite a few people got away with this too] This stinks to me that they have plenty of stock and trying to sell them off as expensive bundles??? Anywho - my mate is chuffed as he told his kids there was no way he could get his hands on 1.
Snail
[ QUOTE ] This stinks to me that they have plenty of stock and trying to sell them off as expensive bundles??? [/ QUOTE ] Thats exactly what i was saying. The guy in my local game was saying they are getting regulars in buying a couple of Wii's once a week (obviously for ebay), hence why they've moved to only selling packages. I'd honestly rather pay Game for a package deal, than may some ebay fecknut for an overpriced Wii.
forresthills
Looks like the Wii isn't he only thing going short this Christams. Kids toys in general seem to be in short supply. Not sure if I should start a new threat or not, but does anyone know where I can get hold of High School Musical for the Wii? I don't really want to pay more than face, i.e. £40! Thanks. Dave
I bought ours from play.com.. they didn't have any themselves but they had some other retailers that did the job.

forresthills
Tell me about. I ordered one about three 3 weeks ago for my niece (£40 from Game), now it turns out the other niece loves it too. Anyway, just had a look on the comet web site (www.comet.co.uk), they appear to have Wii's in stock for home delivery. Expensive packages though! Still, better the ebay I suppose! forresthills
Now in stock at Dixons (on line) too. Again, terrible packages though. Can you imagine your kids face when your present them with a Wii and the My Spanish Coach game!
Snail
I saw numerous Wii's again today, but all in £250+ packages.

Pincher
Yep Although you could try topvision.lu - a couple of guys in my office ordered this week for delivery to the UK and they seems to have had their orders accepted and confirm with Wii's due to be despatched next week. Haven't looked into the company myself but will let you know if they arrive or not
