(text) vs. (vid link) flags for Rubber Room items?

A request, which you may think is rubbish. Some/many of us can't view video links at work, but it's nice to browse the odd (written) joke.

Also, you may want to glance at a funny text item as a brief distraction but haven't necessarily got time to open up a new window, sit through a video which might be 5 minutes long before the punchline, etc.

Thing is that the ratio of videos to jokes is about 80:20 these days, and I've just trawled half a dozen Rubber Room items, all video links, before coming across a written 'funny', so it would be nice to be able to spot which is which.

Would it be reasonable to flag them in title, e.g. "This is funny (vid)"... "joke (txt)" ... ?

This is more about format than content, so it's separate to the Work Warning things which people already do.

Or am I being stupid?

Seems like a sensible request, I can't view YouTube from work either. Maybe if people don't remember, the mods could change the title too.

Same here, theyve just upgraded our system and locked out playing of video content and the use of popular sites like facebook (which i dont use), bebo, etc etc.

If they lock me out of Tyresmoke i'll be rather miffed!

Some good old written funnies would be a nice change

YouTube et al get flagged as "blocked" at our site and >3 "blocks" per user per some timeframe or other means they set the heavy on you....
