mb
Car went to APS yesterday for a service & MOT - well worth the visit as the time & attention they spend is excellent. Unfortunately it looks like it needs new brakes all round - so any recommendations ? I have seen some OEM discs on eBay but wondering whether there is a better route than OEM while I have to spend so much money ?
deathchurch
get the guy on ebay, think he comes on here sometimes as well, all gen VW parts and a hell of a lot cheaper. I got discs/pads all round from him no problems at all.
R32Ash
[ QUOTE ] I have seen some OEM discs on eBay but wondering whether there is a better route than OEM while I have to spend so much money ? [/ QUOTE ] The main problem with sourcing non-OEM brake discs is that most of the people who advertise them are actually advertising the wrong thing. The MK4 R32 has 334mm discs and most of the companies listing them seem to have them down as 312mm which makes me inclined to think they're actually Golf 4-Motion parts which they've assumed are the same size. By the way, the Ebay guy mentioned is (I think) dsgwagen and he's got some discs on there now at £265.
