PetrolDave
There's a lot of guys on AudiWorld who say it works OK with SW 1.1.2 or later on the iPhone.
neilp
Mine works OK apart from Visual voicemail which is a bit hit and miss with it's Audio output, sometimes to the iPhone earpiece, sometimes to the iPhone speaker rarely to the BT kit.... wyliss
Does the transferring of name/number go ok from iphone to car BT kit, i.e. are you still able to view this info on the dash in front of you?

Biscuits
Visual Voicemail is hit and miss in the BM (iDrive) and when calls connect, it takes a couple of second to come through. So it sounds like it's an iPhone issue, not BT carkit issue. Otherwise all works okay.
forresthills
Here's a weird one. I have a retro fit RNS-E with BT kit. The iphone works okay as you say, although I've never got voicemail to work when I'm in the car. I fitted and Audi iPod connector to the car which has never actually worked, but it is now a useful in car charger (its no good for anything else). Today I was messing around with the iPod part of the phone and left it playing when I connected it to the iPod kit (so it's just charging and not working as a pod - but the icon on the front shows it's still playing music). I then make a phone call and what can i hear in the background of my call? The album I was playing. Not sure if this is via the iPod kit (which doesn't technically work) or via the bluetooth. But very strange nonetheless.
wyliss
Has anybody managed to get Visual voicemail to work in their cars yet?. I am having the same problem, I can only get voicemails via the earpiece and the device speaker.
