MajorH
Its nearly a year since my MkV 32 was nicked, and in normal mixed driving conditions I can't say I really notice a difference performance wise if any, apart from the noise that is. JonC
[ QUOTE ] In my opinion the best feature of the Edition 30 is that it has the uprated engine from the S3. The ED30 GTi Golf when chipped becomes a very very fast hatch. I have owned 2 MKv GTis and one ED30. I prefer the look of the normal GTi to the ED 30. But the ED 30 with a chip and no other performance mods is a totally different animal. [/ QUOTE ] I totally agree with you, Nigel, although I do prefer the colour-coded bumpers and the front splitter of the ED30. If only the ED30 came with leather, I'd be tempted to switch and tune it to 300bhp. That said, I have a remap and other mods and the power is plenty. A subjective topic and neither the GTI or the ED30 are better than each oher IMO.
Snoopy
[ QUOTE ] No, they're not [/ QUOTE ] it was a joke you guys are so tightly wound Also helps the GTs have had some good deals on.
Medway
Did it say in the brochure for the ED30 that production was limited to 1500? If that's the case then you may have an argument for false advertising. If not, forget it and just enjoy your now "top of the range" GTI.
