Sparky
[ QUOTE ] It may have taken more than a little time for Polyphony to warm to the idea, but Gran Turismo head Kazunori Yamauchi has confirmed that the series is finally going to be implementing damage, saying it could be included as a downloadable feature for Gran Turismo 5 Prologue as early as this Autumn. CarMad
So how is everyone finding GT5 Prologue then ? I've not got approval for getting a PS3 in the run up to getting married, so will wait until the big day, I got approval for a new camera instead. Now be gentle you can all say its rubbish and your not missing anything CarMad its no problem.

BrianFD3S
Is the Logitech G25 the only wheel that you can have the gearstick on the left hand side?
Torino101
Downloaded GT5 Prologue yesterday on the PS3 - no problem. But when I load the game it immediately says that there is an update that it recommends that you need to download. However in 3 attempts this download has failed halfway through. Is this happenning to anyone else? And is the update essential? What does it add? More cars? Tracks? or just little glitch mends.....
Mac
I got the same thing - took me 3 or 4 attempts to download it properly. Also, I've upgraded my hard disk in the PS3 twice (don't ask) now and both times I had the crappy download for the update it just takes a while that's all. Loving the
bullett
Finally got mine to update. Took about 10 attempts, I hope this doesn't happen everytime. Quoting myself I know but lots of people are having problems with the update not downloading. The general consensus seems to be that it doesn't start from zero each time, so it should work eventually. They need to get this sorted before the next update. I couldn't go play online until I got the update.
Torino101
13 times I have now tried this flipping download - it seems to get slightly further along the progress bar each time.... But i'm still not even getting to half way....!!

Woppum
almost finished this game now. The graphics are second to none but am a bit disapointed with the way the cars handle. The E92 is nothing like life. You cant even drift it! I think they have the wrong car!!

Very driftable, still think the cars sound crap though
Woppum
have turned it all off. Cars do drift i agree, but not the way they would in life! Power oversteer just isnt on the cards! PGR is more realistic in that respect!! Not the way it should be!!
bells0
Onto the S class bit now. Got a 350Z tuned, great car to drive - so easy to control the slides. Elise 111R is impossible, bum out action a go-go!
Woppum
cane you tune cars on this? I cant find the place to do it?
m4ttm4son
AFAIK, there's no tuning in this one sadly. Will have to wait for the full game for that.
Torino101
You can start to tune the cars to an extent after you finish the Class "A" races you get to enter Class "S". Then you get the dubious Performance Points system - hope they don't carry this across into the full game......
bells0
Yup - in 'S' class you can modify bits and pieces - weight, power, ride height, camber etc. Can also buy Gran Turismo 'Tuned' cars in the showroom + other modded cars from Blitz etc.
Torino101
For those that have opened up the Class "S" races - how fricking hard was the Ferrari 430(get past everyone in one lap) challange in Class "A" to complete!! Took me so so long to get through that.....
m4ttm4son
I'm finding most of Class A difficult What cars are the best to use?
