davyk31
Does anyone have auto door locking set on their car for when they drive off. I got it set today by my dealer on the X3 but on my 3 Series it unlocks as soon as you switch the car off. However on the X3 it does not unlock and you have to pull the handle twice to unlock a door. Then you have to press the button on the remote to unlock the back doors to get the kids out. Will ask the dealer tomorrow about it but just wondering if anyone else has theirs to auto unlock too. cabby
Don't have it but looking to get it set on my newly acquired X5. Had it on my A4 and think it is a great and very safe thing to have.
davyk31
Dealer doesn't know and have tried 2 X5s on site. One does unlock and the other doesn't. Will have to research a bit more.
Golfer
I have set up the X6 to do this, it's through "Settings" in the i-drive, dead easy to do, mine locks all doors on moving off and stays locked once engine turned off ( this stops arseholes from trying to get in when you stop to park, you need too double open the door handles, as for the rear child locks thats controled at the drivers door, just press the button down.
