VR32
Sweet! Couple of Q's Lenny... Is it just lowered on springs, do you get any rubbing and how you finding the EVOMs? Thanks
lenny
Lowered on H&R springs - I'm well happy with the looks and ride! No rubbing at all even with 235's - but I had to bend the bracket away in the front arch - dead simple. The EVOMs is a brilliant bit of kit... You can feel the difference when you put your foot down... the noise is mad too!
addict777
Stunning car Lenny! I was wondering though, with the H&R springs, how much did you lower the car by? Cheers
mgreenfield2008
Nice one, Lenny. Liking that a lot. How you finding the Stage 2? Hi just wondered where you got your stelf box from for your boot plus your boot mat or what that already in there mate. Mark
Tarmac_Terrorist
That does look particularly nice - I very much like the custom boot build too
lenny
Cheers guys for the comments. The H&R springs drop the car by approx 35-40mm the difference is superb! The boot build is a one-off custom job by Audio Advice, N.Irelands leading in-car entertainment specialists...Now also in Scotland!! The boot mat was made by justmatz - again custom made. Ohh and I thought it was fnished... But I've just bought a carbon rear valance OISR and the wheels are going for a refirb with a difference.... Plus - the amount of forced induction kits appearing for £5k .... well I could be tempted! Edited July 16, 2008 by lenny
ChrisBuer
Haha and you said the modding had finished It never finishes lol....it's a bug!
lenny
Haha and you said the modding had finished It never finishes lol....it's a bug! Dont I know it! The car is paid off in a few months time and I would love a RS4.... But a turbo/supercharged Mk5 for £5k would keep up with the RS4 and well thats what would loose in the first year changing..... Ohh what to do?
zeesh
Hi Lenny, the car is looking good mate. I see uve went for a carbon fibre rear valance, hav you put it on yet, would like to see a picture of it, as im tempted by this too. Also where did u get the Evoms cold air intake from and how much? Do you recommend it. Any 1 else have any other options for a cold air intake. thanks zeesh
lenny
Hi zeesh. The carbon valance isn't on yet - got it as a bargin on ebay - brand new for well less then 1/2 price! Evoms intake came from Regal motorsport - £280ish.. It does make a big difference to the car - espically with the car being mapped.. Hope this helps. trickie
Hi Lenny, First of all I like all the mods you have done!! Thats how I would like mine to be!! Quick question. Its probably still too early yet, but have you had any probs with the air filter and the MAF sensor? Thinking that the air filter is oiled (K&N)?? Cheers
lenny
There have been no problems with the filter. It is very, very lightly oiled....
BrakeSnake
I take it if you did have a maf problem, you'd only know about it from a maf sensor failure? is it indicated in such an instance?
lenny
You would notice that the car would feel underpowered... And it should show up on the dealers computer that the maf was duff....
trickie
Right, I am Sold!! Where did you purchase the Filter Kit from?? Cheers... Its ok just read the other posts!! Cant wait!! Edited July 29, 2008 by trickie Found Info
RFredR32
Lenny, how you doing it has been a while, i have been keeping an eye in on TSN. Noticed your post the car looks awesome and although you say you have finished you know as well as i do there will be a bit more hard earned cash thrown towards it. Car looks the muts nuts if you are ever tempted to sell it keep in touch, funny was looking at an RS4 last week in sprint blue an 06 car with 30k miles and well back in the money fortunately the old bank balance didnt allow for it. Keep modding the R32
