cruiser647
Now this is sooo much better than the current offering! They might even sell a few more and not have such terrible depreciation...........:- BMW tones down its next 7 | Auto Express News | News | Auto Express The back is still a bit iffy, but the front and side profiles are looking good! patently
Nice. Elegant. Bet they'll still depreciate like a stone, though.
SINGH
That really does nothing for me, it might just be the colour that's not doing it justice in them pictures, but I was hoping this would be a real stunner as I think the E60 5 Series is one of the best looking cars on the road today. Now I think the complete opposite. I would say the back looks ok (if a little nondescript) now that they've got rid of the landing deck but it's the front that's now horrid. Looks like a poor Chinese copy of the CS concept - the kidneys are way too big but I guess they are trying for enough variation to allow a CS production model. CarMad
Not small but it looks like they have made a feature of them rather than just tacked them on the side. Some more info on TSN News now... New BMW 7 Series

qtrmile
BMW 7 series rocks! it is both a luxury and sport car. Why do the 7 series depreciate fster than the 3 & 5 series? is it the marketability of the car? ____________________ Autopartswarehouse.com offers great deals! CarMad
Its mainly companies buying them not personal purchases, lets be honest a 5 is more than big enough for most normal needs except for the business person that just needs that little bit more. thomatt12
The new 7 series looks good to me. I'm feelin' the new design of the grille. __________________ Edited July 30, 2008 by shao_khan
Mook
Do you reckon BMW actually make any money on all the 7 series they sell? If they don't, I reckon they should just can it and let Merc have the luxury big car market and focus on doing what they do best and build the rest of their range. Except the X3, X5 and X6

Except the X3, X5 and X6 I agree that the 7series doesnt sell well but to say they should can the X5 is complete and utter madness!! That car is a roaring sucess
cruiser647
It a showcase car. If they give up the sector, it will send out the wrong message. Agree with Mook about canning the X3. Wish they'd can the f'ugly X5 too.
Alastair_A3
i agree the X3 is pretty ugly but the X5 is a brilliant looking car imo.. much better looking than that overweight Q7
alera
Well its better than the current model (which is about the ugliest car on the road) but still doesnt look great. Not sure what Bmw are doing with their styling these days.
