Woppum
It all depends on what tracks you go to. Angelsey a set lasted a day, Donny I could probabaly get 3 days and same with Snet. For this reason I always have a stock of tyres in the office as cups/hoosiers are not usually stock items.
Elliot
£12k a year on tyres is EASY if you track a lot. I used to do a hell of a lot of days, many per month. I spent about £16k in 18 months on Cups alone many years ago (about £1k a set or thereabouts). Yes some were ruined early because of poor factory geo, and some got written off by nails/punctures, but it still adds up.
Woppum
I just think the gtr could be a very costly car to track... will wait to see i suppose!
Elliot
I just think the gtr could be a very costly car to track... will wait to see i suppose! It'll cost a fortune - it's way too heavy. Even the CSL is too heavy to be a 'cheap' track car. Only the lightweight things (like those frog-eyes bath tubs) are cheap! More weight = more tyre and brake expense.
