£12k a year on tyres is EASY if you track a lot. I used to do a hell of a lot of days, many per month.

I spent about £16k in 18 months on Cups alone many years ago (about £1k a set or thereabouts). Yes some were ruined early because of poor factory geo, and some got written off by nails/punctures, but it still adds up.

I just think the gtr could be a very costly car to track... will wait to see i suppose!

It'll cost a fortune - it's way too heavy. Even the CSL is too heavy to be a 'cheap' track car.

Only the lightweight things (like those frog-eyes bath tubs) are cheap! More weight = more tyre and brake expense.
